SourceSurvey Privacy Policy

SourceSurvey provides post-purchase attribution surveys for Shopify merchants. This Privacy Policy explains what information SourceSurvey collects, how we use it, and how that information is handled.

Information we collect

When a merchant installs and uses SourceSurvey, we may process and store information necessary to provide the service, including:

• The merchant's Shopify store domain.
• Survey settings and answer options configured by the merchant.
• Post-purchase survey responses submitted by customers.
• Order-related information associated with a survey response, including an order identifier, order number, order total, and response timestamp.

SourceSurvey does not intentionally collect customer names, email addresses, shipping addresses, billing addresses, or payment information through its post-purchase survey.

How we use information

We use this information to provide and operate SourceSurvey, display attribution results and aggregated reporting to merchants, maintain and improve the service, troubleshoot technical issues, and comply with applicable legal obligations.

How information is shared

SourceSurvey does not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers that help us operate and host the application. We may also disclose information when required by law or when necessary to protect the security and integrity of the service.

Data retention and deletion

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide SourceSurvey and fulfill the purposes described in this policy. We delete or anonymize information when it is no longer required, subject to applicable legal and operational requirements.

We also process applicable data access and deletion requests received through Shopify in accordance with Shopify's requirements and applicable law.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information processed by SourceSurvey. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Merchant and customer rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including rights to request access, correction, or deletion. Shopify customers may also submit applicable privacy requests through the merchant from whom they made a purchase.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
